Sutton-in-Craven Church of England Primary School

'Flourishing together, in the love of God, to live life in all its fullness.' (John 10:10)

Sutton-in-Craven CE Primary School is located in the village of Sutton-in-Craven, in the Aire valley just 5 miles south of Skipton. The school was established as a Church of England School in 1858 and has been a key part of village life ever since. It has strong and close relationships with the local church and community.

The school has a teaching Head, Mrs Orla Gibbons and a Local Academy Council made up of parents, staff, foundation and community governors, chaired by Ms Lynette Brammah.

The school benefits from working collaboratively with other schools in the Trust to ensure high quality teaching across all curriculum subjects; however, the curriculum is bespoke to the school meeting the specific needs of the children within its four classes. All Sutton-in-Craven children have their own class teacher.
