Leeds Diocesan Learning Trust has been established as a passionate commitment to support church and community schools across the Diocese of Leeds. Bringing together the children, staff and governors in our schools and the central team and directors on the Trust Board, we are proud to ‘love, live and work together’ to support the delivery of quality education.
Our Church of England foundation underpins our worldview and approach. We seek to live out Christian values in all we do and to draw on our close partnership with the Diocese of Leeds and its Board of Education. We believe this foundation and our deep commitment to vision welcomes and includes everyone and will foster an environment that celebrates diversity and supports everyone to fully flourish.
As we say in our vision statement, LDLT is committed to serving and celebrating our unique schools and communities. This is characterised by collaborative working across our schools and mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships beyond the Trust. This includes our local authorities, other Trusts, local and regional providers of education support, our local communities and of course with the diocese.
Most importantly, our schools are amazing communities of learning, filled with keen and eager young people, day to day reaching their potential and building strong foundations for a positive future. Equally, our schools are characterised by talented and dedicated staff led by strong, compassionate leaders, who continuously work to develop everyone.
